How is interview coaching different from using AI to prep?
AI can help you generate ideas for responses. It can’t help you deliver them, anticipate follow up questions or how to connect with your interviewer. The hiring team is evaluating details including your executive presence, how you handle next-level questions, how you talk about salary, and whether you’re likable and want to work with you. None of that gets practiced in a chat window. With one-on-one coaching, you practice on camera with real-time feedback from someone who has been on the recruiter’s side of the table and who’s specialized in interview coaching for years.
How do I answer the salary expectations question without underselling myself?
The salary expectations question comes up in almost every interview at the leadership level, and it trips up senior people more than it should. We work on language, confidence, and keeping the conversation moving forward. If you’re in the Success package, we also prepare how to handle your job offer so you know exactly what to say when the time comes.
How do I show personality in a video interview without losing professionalism?
Video flattens energy, so the warmth that comes through naturally in person often reads differently on camera. Yes. Many clients come in when they haven’t interviewed in years or haven’t interviewed before video became the default. We cover the format shift, including panel video, recorded video, and AI screening interviews, and how to show up on camera in a way that reads approachable and confident instead of rehearsed. What if I don't have an interview scheduled yet?
Many clients work with Dalena before an interview is on the calendar. Prep is more effective and much less stressful when it’s not crammed into a very tight timeframe. Do you only work with executives?

Do you offer in-person interview coaching?
All sessions are virtual. Since many leadership interviews now happen on video or online, the prep mirrors the format you’re actually walking into. Is your interview on site? No problem, we can also work together to help you excel in your in person interviews.
